<br />CENTENNIAL FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF ASSOCIATION BYLAWS <br /> <br />Section 3. Secretary. <br />It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep a true and <br />accurate record 01 the proceedings of all meetings of the <br />association and of the board of trustees. The Secretary <br />shall keep a correct record of all amendments, alterations <br />and additions to the Articles of Incorporation or the bylaws <br />in a separate book from the minute books of the association, <br />and cause due notice of all special meetings of the <br />association and board of trustees, receive all moneys due <br />the association and pay the same over to the treasurer, <br />taking a receipt for the same, and failing to do so the <br />Secretary may be impeached and expelled from the <br />association. The Secretary shall keep a roll of membership, <br />with the date of joining, resignation, discharge, <br />assessments paid and relief or pensions furnished. The <br />Secretaries books shall be at all times open to inspection <br />by the board of trustees, and prior to entering upon the <br />duties of office, give a bond in such amount and with such <br />securities as may be required and approved by the board of <br />trustees, conditioned upon the faithful discharge of his/ or <br />hers trusts and the full performance of the duties of <br />office, paid for from the Special Fund of the association. <br />The Secretary shall sign all orders for payment issued to <br />the Treasurer, and jointly with Treasurer, prepare and rile <br />all reports and statements required by law. The Secretary <br />shall receive such salary as may be fixed from time to time <br />by the board of trustees, subject to approval of the <br />association, and payable from the Special Fund of the <br />association. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br />lClause A) Determine Financial Requirements. <br />Pursuants to the Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association <br />Guidelines Act 01 1971, the officers of the association <br />shall, annually, determine the financial requirements of the <br />Special Fund for the year following the end of the current <br />year. (For this purpose, Minnesota Statutes, Section 69.772 <br />shall be used as the association is providing a lump sum <br />serVlce pension). <br /> <br />lClause B) Annual Financial Report. <br />Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 69.051, Subd. 1 as <br />now in effect and as may be hereinafter amended, the <br />Secretary, with the Treasurer of the association, shall <br />annually prepare and sign an Annual Financial Report of the <br />association's receipts, disbursements, and balances in its <br />Special and General funds for the preceding calendar year <br />ending December 31, and forward copies to appropriate <br />agencies as directed on forms, the fire commission, and <br />member cities. <br /> <br />n.,",""<=> 4 <br /> <br />(~1<n R1<r.THH,lJ~,,-.:n('T Ii'T'TnN <br /> <br />.T "''''''' "'Y"V ')() <br /> <br />1QRQ <br />
