County Policy has always
been sidewalks are city, anything that happens on them. We do not remove snow from ANY anywhere. I have seen
Blaine, Coon Rapids and Anoka city rmoving snow from sidewalks this week. It would be an enormous undertaking for
the County to began doing this. He says he remembers clearly telling the city when it was planned to put the walk way in
that because it is so close to the street, this was going to be a problem More and more cities are plowing sidewalks
regularly. Jon was going to talk to his people and see if there is anything to be done, he was talking about coming back
with a blade to clean off the right of way ocassionally which would push snow a little further into yards Residents
probably will not like that heavy, salt and sand snow pushed into their yards. It's not an easy one.

I'll let you know when Jon comes up with anything.

Margaret

1
