<br />.. <br /> <br />Neighborhood Block Party Request to Close Meadow Circle <br /> <br />Motion b)' Council Member Vickers. seconded by Council Member Sweeney <br />to approve the request to close Meadow Circle for a neighborhood party on <br />August 1. 2000. from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />X. CONSENT AGENDA - None. <br /> <br />XI. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />· Council Member Sweeney reviewed the comments made on Ordinance #4 <br />at the previous meeting. He felt this was a positive meeting and that <br />numerous comments and opinions were given. Council Member Sweeney <br />stated the Planning and Zoning Commission discussed increasing the <br />length of recreational vehicles to thirty-five (35) feet, but limiting the <br />number of vehicles to two (2). <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated he does not want to see the recreational vehicle <br />issue get out of control and would like to maintain the neat and clean look <br />of neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis felt that thirty-five (35) feet was excessive and <br />felt it was a compromise. He did not want to see vehicles placed in <br />driveway right-of-ways. <br /> <br />Council Member Vikers suggested all concerns regarding Ordinance #4 be <br />brought up before the Planning and Zoning Commission at their next <br />meeting in order to present to Council for their approval in August. She <br />indicated she fclt this document was the best compromise for the residents <br />ofCenterville after discussing the issues with numerous citizens. <br /> <br />Mr. March noted Ordinance #4 would be brought before the Council at the <br />second meeting in August for an additional public hearing and approval. <br /> <br />· Mayor Wilharber indicated the telephone listing for the City needs <br />updating for emergency situations. <br /> <br />XII. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. March indicated the carnival was in town and encouraged all residents to <br />attend the Fete des Lacs Celebration this weekend. He noted buttons would be for <br />sale at City Hall for $5.00 or $8.00 at the fair.
