<br />which it considers necessary to meet the standards of this Ordinance and to protect the <br />best interests of the surrounding area or the city as a whole. Violation of any such <br />condition is a violation of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 205-050: Expiration. If substantial construction has not taken place within twelve <br />(12) months after the date of a Special Use Permit, the permit is void except that on <br />application, the Council, after receiving the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, may extend the permit for an additional period not to exceed six (6) months. <br />A Special Use Permit authorizes only the Conditional Use specified in the permit and <br />expires if, for any reason, the authorized use ceases for more than twelve (12) months. <br /> <br />Section 205-060: Fees. Any person requesting a Special Use Permit shall pay a fee <br />according to the Schedule established by resolution of the City Council. The fee is payable <br />at the time of filing the application and is not refundable. <br /> <br />Division 210: Enforcement and Violations <br /> <br />The Zoning Administrator is directed by the City Council to enforce the provisions of this <br />Ordinance and maintain all necessary records pertaining to this Ordinance including but not <br />limited to Amendments, Variances, Complaints and Violations. Any person who violates or <br />fails to comply with the provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and <br />upon conviction may be punished to the maximum extent allowed by law. Each day a <br />violation exists constitutes a separate offense. <br /> <br />Section 210-010: Responsibility of City Clerk. Issue building permits and collect the <br />fees as established by resolution of the City Council. <br /> <br />A. Maintain permanent and current records pertaining to this Ordinance, <br />including but not limited to; Maps, Amendments, Special Uses, <br />Variances, Appeals, PUDs, and applications therefore. <br /> <br />B. Receive, file, and forward applications for Appeals, Variances, Special <br />Use Permits, or other action to the appropriate official bodies. <br /> <br />C. Provide clerical assistance to the Board. <br /> <br />Section 210-020: Responsibility of the Building Inspector. The Building Inspector shall <br />be given the authority and responsibility to enforce all of the provisions of this ordinance <br />and shall: <br /> <br />A. Enforce the requirements of this Ordinance for Building and <br />Occupancy Permits and issue or deny each application in accordance <br />with the provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />B.
