<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 14, 2007 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported the Sedona Project Developer agreement would be <br />given to the developer and hopefully ready for City Council next week. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard stated that the parking requirements are lower than City <br />requirements. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz replied the trend for parking requirements is moving downward. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard responded this would eliminate the need for a variance. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied the language states they must meet the parking needs <br />of the project. He stated the first phase had a reduction in parking; however, the new <br />three-story project meets the City's parking requirements. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser replied Phases 1 through 3 were previously approved with a <br />reduced parking requirement, however, Phases 2 and 3 will not be constructed as <br />originally planned. He stated a variance would not be issued for parking. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that parking requirements could be reviewed with the <br />Comprehensive Plan update. <br /> <br />2. Centerville Sesquicentennial <br />a. LaCompany <br />b. Aerial Photo Proiect <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated she is having difficulty with the company. She reported she had a <br />proposal for aerial photos and would bring this to Council with an update at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated she would like an aerial photo of the ice fishing event. She stated the <br />cost would be about $400 for the aerial event, but would attempt to find someone else. <br />Mayor Capra indicated she would also like an aerial photo of the parade this year. She <br />asked Council how many events it would like to schedule. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar stated he would like something in the summer as this is a 150 year <br />celebration. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee agreed. <br /> <br />3. Downtown Redevelopment <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported Staff is 111 the process of updating the developer <br />agreement. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard reported on the Banzai application from the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission meeting.
