<br />Your city is a growing community in the Twin City area. 1 know, that as cities grow, the need for
<br />professionals to handle the park. and recreation services increases. It is quite possible that your city is at
<br />the point where it has no staff to handle the responsibilities related to park planning~ park facility
<br />scheduling) recreation programs, park design. commission or committee leadership, park policies and
<br />ordinances, etc. If this is the case. I would like to provide your city with expertise or leadership on a
<br />temporary, regular or seasonal basis in th.e form of contractual services or part time basis. In this way,
<br />your city can afford seIVices on an as.needed basis. Our rates can be quite reasonable (approx.
<br />$l8/hr/negotiable depending on services needed) and provide you with a needed service.

<br />I believe our expertise is needed in small growing communities. that cannot yet afford a Parks and
<br />Recreation Director/Professional. Are your residents, staff, council, park board, or athletic associations

<br />Education & aa,pkground: degree from the University of Minnesota in Parks & Recreation
<br />Administration Experience in municipal government, with Recreation Supervisor through Department
<br />Head level experience.

<br />management including swimming pool, golf course, community center, athletic complex.es, park
<br />buildings, projects, park facility & playground equipment design, specification, bidding and project
<br />management, etc.
<br />-Budget Preparation- genem1 fimd budgets, enterprise funds, CIP fund development, & replacement plans.
<br />.Park Plann!ng - e~tablis~ment ~f 5 year plan. s, master plans~ renovation plans, facility plans, comp plans.
<br />-Recreation Program Planning- youth progr8ins~ adult progdrarris, special events, senior citizens, etc.
<br />-Working with Athletic Associations- hockey, baseball. softball, soccer, etc.
<br />-City Newsletter, Recreation Activities program preparation and mailing, etc.
<br />-Grantwriting - have secured over $2.5 million in grant funds for municipalities.
<br />- Natural Resource Management - trails, wetlands, rivers. prairies, woodlands, greenways. preservation.
