<br />Weather Policy
<br />The Parks and Recreation Department
<br />attempts to contact participants if a
<br />program is cancelled due to bad weather
<br />or school closing. Participants/Parents/
<br />Guardians are also instructed to call the
<br />Hotline at 651-982-2448 for a recorded
<br />message that provides updates on the
<br />status of programs.
<br />
<br />Cancellations/ Location Changes
<br />The Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation
<br />Department uses Centennial School
<br />District facilities for some of its programs.
<br />Your class may be cancelled or moved to
<br />an alternate location due to the school
<br />facilities availability. The school district
<br />will attempt to notify our department of a
<br />potential scheduling conflict and in turn
<br />our department will notify you. Thank you
<br />for your understanding! !

<br />Financial Assistance Available
<br />Financial assistance is available for most
<br />programs. To seek assistance, or for
<br />additional information, please contact us
<br />at651-982-2440.

<br />Photo/Videotape Policy
<br />Periodically we take pictures or videotape
<br />of participants in various programs,
<br />special events or people enjoying the
<br />parks. Note: these photos may appear
<br />local newspapers or in a department
<br />publication.
<br />
<br />Parks Upkeep
<br />If you see any broken glass, broken
<br />equipment, damage to a picnic table or
<br />building, or vandalism on park grounds
<br />please call us immediately! We will send
<br />maintenance out to repair the problem as
<br />soon as possible.

<br />Lost and Found
<br />We retrieve many personal belongings each
<br />year that are left behind at parks, programs
<br />or special events. If you have lost any
<br />personal item( s) at any of our locations
<br />contact us at 651-982-2440 to see if it was
<br />recovered. We will hold items for six months.
<br />
<br />Pets in the Parks/City Trails
<br />Lino Lakes City Code places certain
<br />restrictions on dogs in city parks and
<br />trails. The code defines a dog to be "at
<br />large: on public property, unless:
<br />1) under the voice or signal command of a
<br />competent person whose command
<br />the animal will obey immediately
<br />2) in the immediate presence ofthe owner
<br />3) controlled by a leash not exceeding
<br />6-feet in length
<br />Please keep pets out of play areas, park
<br />buildings and picnic areas. It would be
<br />grea1Iy. appreciated if all pet owners would
<br />remember... when in public areas, please
<br />clean up after your pet, this is where
<br />children play.

<br />Park, Pialic, Ballfield Reservations
<br />Picnic and ballfield reservation permits are
<br />issued to residents wishing to use a
<br />picnic shelter at Sunrise Park (2) and Lino
<br />Park or any play-field within Lino Lakes.
<br />To reserve a shelter you must complete
<br />and return a reservation form to the Parks
<br />and Recreation Department. You may
<br />obtain a form by stopping in our office or
<br />calling 651-982-2440. Ballfield reservations
<br />may be done over the phone. Reservations
<br />are taken on a first-come first-served basis.

<br />Data Privacy Advisory
<br />In accordance with MN Government Data
<br />Practices Act, the Recreation staff of Lino
<br />Lakes hereby informs you that the
<br />personal information we are requesting of
<br />you and/or your child on our registration
<br />form is now considered private. Private
<br />data is available to you and to City staff
<br />who need to have this information to
<br />perform their duties, but not to the public.
<br />While you may choose to withhold this
<br />data, the consequences could be that the
<br />City's Recreation staff may not be able to
<br />complete your registration and/or you may
<br />not receive updated program information
<br />such as schedule changes, etc.
