<br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting Minutes May 9, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, May 9,2006 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks and Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held the rescheduled May 3,2006 committee meeting on May 9,2006, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Committee Member Linda Merkel <br />Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Chairperson Tedd Peterson <br />Committee Member Kathy Peil <br /> <br />Council: <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Mlli)@~[~)[r@W@@] <br /> <br />Staff: Kim Stephan <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />Committee Member Seeley called the May 9,2006 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order at 6:41 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />The regularly scheduled May 3, 2006 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting was cancelled due to <br />lack of quorum and rescheduled for Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Because of the amount of circus <br />business and limited number of members present, the committee opted to set the agenda to only <br />include the Kelly Miller Circus and the Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Play Structure, tabling the <br />remaining items until the June 7, 2006 committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member Seeley <br />to limit the agenda to the discussion of the above items. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />III. COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Trail Easement - 1818 Fox Run <br /> <br />A brief discussion was held on the trail easement at 1818 Fox Run and the committee felt before <br />they could make a recommendation to City Council they needed to view the area in question and <br />will do so, before the next meeting. <br /> <br />10f3 <br />
