We are planning an upgrade to Laurie LaMotte
Memorial Park in the spring of 2006. This park currently does not have a play structure to
compliment the skate park, ball fields and soccer fields. The project cost is approximately $45,000
and would include the purchase of equipment, base, border and volunteer labor for installation. The
committee would like to request $10,000 in charitable gambling funds from your organization. While
recognizing the limitations of your funding, any amount the Spring Lake Park Lions could donate
towards this purchase would be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance for your consideration of the Parks & Recreation Committee's request. If you
have any questions or comments, please feel free to call me at City Hall, 651-429-3232.

Sincerely,

D~~

Mr. Dallas Larson .
City Administrator

CC: Mr. Tedd Peterson, Parks & Recreation Committee Chairperson
