<br />. . <br /> <br />~ Metropolitan Council <br /> <br />September 14, 2005 <br /> <br />Mr. John V onDeLinde <br />Anoka County Parks & Recreation <br />550 Bunker Lake Blvd. <br />Anoka, MN 55304 <br /> <br />Re: Regional Park System Statements <br /> <br />Dear Mr. VonDeLinde: <br /> <br />Section 473.864 of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act requires all metropolitan-area cities <br />to review, and if necessary, amend their entire local comprehensive plans and fiscal devices <br />and official controls at least once every ten years to ensure local plans and official controls <br />conform to metropolitan system plans. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information are copies of the regional park system statements of the <br />applicable cities, townships and county that are within the jurisdiction of your park agency. <br />Please note that the final boundary ofa park unit or alignment for a trail unit will be <br />determined through the preparation and adoption of a master plan for that unit, in cases <br />where park system units are proposed to be expanded through boundary adjustments, or ne\\' <br />park/trail units do not yet have a master plan.
