<br />11. The Economic Development Committee members submitted a letter to the <br />Council recommending that EDC be disbanded. The Council will consider <br />whether EDC duties should be taken over by an Economic Development <br />Authority. The Council asked that a thank you letter from the Council be available <br />at the next meeting along with recognition plaques. <br />12. Council discussed the Downtown Redevelopment planning that is in process. The <br />next meeting will be on November 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the School. <br />13. It was reported that the Police recently conducted compliance checks of liquor <br />and tobacco sales and found 100% compliance. The Council asked for <br />congratulatory letters to be sent to each licensee. <br />14. Adjourned at 9:08 <br /> <br />The Work Session. <br /> <br />1.
