<br />Time of Permit
<br />
<br />Work authorized by a permit shall begin within ninety (90) days from the date of issuance unless
<br />otherwise stipulated. The work shall be completed within twelve (12) months from the date of
<br />issuance unless such time is extended by .c:ouncil.u:rhec:ityushallbeunotifie~~tleastforty~eigl1t
<br />(48) hours prior to the commencement of work. J f the work is not initiated as specified, the
<br />permit shall be voided.

<br />SECTION 5.0 - V AlliANCES AND APPEALS
<br />
<br />5.1 General
<br />
<br />An application for variance shall be processed according to the Municipal Code. In addition to
<br />normal notice requirements of the variance process, written notice of the variance along with a
<br />description of the scope of the proposed project shall be submitted to Rice Creek Watershed
<br />District.
<br />
<br />Prior to granting a variance from this ordinance, the City Council must find that the variance:

<br />A. Will not result in any detriment to surface or groundwater resources which provide
<br />aquifer recharge.
