That portion of a lot between a lot line, and a building on the lot. <br /> <br />Subd. 157. Yard, Exterior. A side yard which abuts a street or public right-of-way <br />along the side lot line. <br /> <br />Subd. ] 58. Yard, Front. The area extending along the full width of the lot between <br />the side lot lines from the street right-of-way line to the principal <br />building on the lot or to a depth required in the yard regulations of the <br />Zoning District in which the individual lot is located. <br /> <br />Subd. 159. Yard, Interior Side. A side yard which abuts an adjacent side yard or <br />back yard along the side lot line. <br /> <br />Subd. 160. Yard, Rear. The area extending along the full width of the lot between <br />the side lot lines from the side lot line to the principal building on the lot <br />or as specified in the yard regulations for the Zoning District in which <br />the individual lot is located. <br /> <br />Subd. 16] .Yard, Side. The area extending along the full depth ofthe lot between <br />the front and rear lot lines from the side lot line to the principal building <br />on the lot. <br /> <br />Subd. 162. Zero Lot Line. An allowance that provides for one (1) zero side yard <br />setback for residential structures. The intent is to allow residential <br />structures in M-l, R-2A, R-2, R-3 and R-4 to be placed on a side yard lot <br />line in order to provide a more usable side yard provided that no <br />windows or doors open on this side orthe structure. Other setbacks as <br />defined for these zoning districts will otherwise applv. <br /> <br />Subd. 163. Zoning District. An area for which specific regulations and requirements <br />are established to govern land use, lot specifications, structures and <br />building dimensions. <br /> <br />Subd. 164. Zoning Map. A map that designates the location and boundaries of the <br />City's Zoning Districts. <br /> <br />16 <br />
