Small Construction Equipment <br /> <br />Licensed motor homes or fifth wheel utility trailers are allowed in <br />the side or rear yards. <br /> <br />Clothes lines, antennae, air conditions, outdoor grills, play <br />equipment, ornaments and monuments. <br /> <br />9. Temporary storage of materials and equipment during <br />construction and landscaping. <br /> <br />10. Lakeshore properties can store the following items of <br />personal property within fifty (50) feet of the shoreline during <br />the months from September to May: <br /> <br />a. Docks <br />b. Surface Water Management. <br />Storm water shall be managed in accordance with the City's Surface Water <br />Management Plan, National Urban Runoff Program (NURP) standards for the design of <br />new storm water ponds and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's (MPCA) Urban <br />Best Management Practices, entitled "Protecting '.Vater Quality in Urban l\rcas" <br />federal NPDES Phase II regulations for MS4 plans Storm Water Pollution Prevention <br />Program permits. These standards shall be applied in the review of any future proposed <br />development to reduce non-point source pollutants into area lakes, creek and county <br />ditches from storm water run-off. <br /> <br />Existing natural drainage ways, natural water storage or retention areas, and vegetated <br />soil surfaces should be used to the greatest extent possible to store, filter and retain <br />storm water run-off before its discharge occurs into any public waters. When natural <br />features and vegetation are not available to handle storm water run-off, constructed <br />facilities such as diversion ditches, settling basins, skimming devices, dikes and man- <br />made waterways and ponds may be used. Preference shall be given to desi!,,'11s using <br />surface drainage, vegetation and infiltration rather than buried pipes and man-made <br />materials and facilities. Development should be planned and conducted in a manner <br />that will minimize the extent of disturbed areas, run-off velocities, erosion potential and <br />reduce and delay run-off volumes. <br /> <br />422.1] Wetland Protection and Management. <br /> <br />10 <br />
