Alterations of a building primarily of an aesthetic nature <br />which may include incidental repairs to supporting members but not <br />structural alterations. <br /> <br />Residential Facility (also Group Homes). A state licensed residential <br />facility, defined by Chapter 462, Minnesota Statues, serving six (6) or <br />fewer persons, in a Single-Family Residential District and no more than <br />sixteen (16) persons in a Multi-Family Residential District. <br /> <br />Right-of-Way. A street, alley or easement permanently established for the <br />passage of persons and vehicles, including the traveled surface of lands <br />adjacent that are formally dedicated to such usage. The right-of-way is <br />measured 12 - 14 feet from the center of the street or road. <br /> <br />Setbacks. Areas of a lot adjoining the lot lines in which structures are <br /> <br />Sewer System. Pipelines or conduits, pumping stations. force main, and <br />all other construction devices, appliances, or appurtenances used for <br />conduction sewage or industrial waste or other wastes to a point of <br />ultimate disposal. <br /> <br />Shore Impact Zone. Land located between the ordinary high water level <br />of a public water and a line parallel to it at a setback of fifty percent (50%) <br />of the structure setback. <br /> <br />~ Any structure, device, advertisement or visual representation <br />intended to visually advertise, identify or communicate information, or to <br />visually attract the attention of the public for any purpose unless located <br />within a building and not visible from the exterior of the building. See <br />Ordinance #39. <br /> <br />Significant Historic Site. Any archaeological site, standing structure, or <br />other property that meets the criteria for eligibility to the National Register <br />of Historic Places or is listed in the State Register of Historic Sites, or is <br />determined to be an unplanted cemetery that falls under the provisions of <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 307.08. A historic site meets these criteria if <br />it is presently listed on either register or if it is determined to meet the <br />qualifications for listing after review by the Minnesota State Archaeologist <br />or the Director of the Minnesota Historical Society. <br /> <br />Sit-Down Restaurant. A restaurant in which more than 20% of the gross <br />sales are through table service. <br /> <br />15 <br />
