A catalog Will be available at the meeting for review. <br />It will take several weeks to receive the item chosen following placement of <br />the order. <br /> <br />Web Site Update <br /> <br />It was determined at the last Council Meeting that if Committees chose to <br />participate in articles of information being. placed on the City's web site, <br />information should be forwarded to Staff for entering onto the web site. <br />Concensus was that Staff would ensure accuracy, consistency and timely <br />updates. The process of transferring information to the new web site has <br />been started and copies of Parks & Recreation sections are attached for your <br />review. <br /> <br />Park Grants <br /> <br />Attached are the requested copies of the 1999 Trail Grant and copies of <br />three (3) letters regarding parks, requirements and grants. Ms. Bender has <br />contacted Mr. Tim Mitchell in regards to the 1999 Trail Grant Fund, Ms. <br />Audrey Mularie in regards to Laurit? LaMotte Memorial Park and the Acorn <br />Creek Park grant. Further research is needed to ascertain what has been <br />submitted versus what needs to be submitted for the matching $7,900, 1999 <br />Trail Grant and Staff will keep the Committee updated as to the status of <br />these items. <br /> <br />Acorn Creek Park <br /> <br />. There is no deadline on the 10% retainage monies. <br /> <br />. The fundil1g acknowledgement sign has been installed per Public <br />Works. <br /> <br />. The Public Works Department will install the handicapped accessible <br />pads around the benches and picnic tables and the curb cut (ramp) into <br />the play area as soon as weather permits. <br /> <br />. Ms. Bender received clarification regarding the molded bucket swing <br />seat. It is to be a molded bucket, high-backed seat, not just ring and <br />leg holes.
