<br />Attached are copies of the DNR Outdoor Recreational Grant Program and Resolution
<br />#01-006 - Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Iinprovements Grant Application. The
<br />Resolution is included as an example. In researching this process it was detennined all
<br />grants must be written internally by the City Administrator or respective city staff
<br />Before any grant can be submitted it has to have preliminary approval by the City
<br />Council. Whereas committees can be involved in the process, they cannot write or
<br />submit a grant. The DNR Outdoor Recreational Grant process for 2003 should be started
<br />in the fall of 2002 to enable the paperwork to be completed and submitted in a timely
<br />fashion.
