CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />Chairperson DeVine called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. <br />n. PUBILC HEARINGS <br /> <br />m. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Mr. Terry Olson and Mr. Doug KnolImaier, Centennial Soccer Club, appeared to <br />discuss a soccer :field prQposal. the Centennial Soccer Club would like to install a <br />sprinkler system on the two soccer fields in Laurie LaMotte Park. The Soccer Club <br />would like the City of Centerville to: 1) Mow the ~ and fertilize, if possible. 2) <br />Water the fields when needed. 3) Give the Soccer Club a 3-5 year commitment that <br />the fields will remain soccer fields. If all parties agree they would like to install the <br />sprin~11ng system in the mn of2002. <br /> <br />The committee is unable to guarantee it, but do not forsee any changes being made <br />to the soccer :fields. The Parks and Recreation Committee would like to see the <br />Soccer Club get installation proposals from licensed contractors and contact Paul <br />Palzer, Public Works Director and Tom Peterson, City Bngmeer to go over <br />specifics.
