City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 11, 2007 <br /> <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to approve <br />the March 28, 2007 City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />2.March 28, 2007 City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />The Council requested the following changes: <br />Page 3 of 9, paragraph 5, second sentence. “the city would fund the official reception…” <br />Page 3 of 9, paragraph 9, change Church to Community Center. <br />Page 3 of 9, last paragraph - “photos would be displayed at the Mainstreet Bank. . .” <br />Page 7 of 9, paragraph 4, last sentence, “Mr. Larson stated the cost for sod is $5,500 and <br />$1,700 for seeding. He stated the cost is not to exceed $7,200 total.” <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Lee to approve the <br />March 28, 2007 City Council Meeting Minutes as amended. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville March 29, 2007 through April 11, 2007 Claims <br /> <br />2.Bonestroo Proposal for Additional Fees Associated with the Fairview Street <br />Construction Estimate of April 12, 2006. <br /> <br />3.Accept Resignation of Parks & Recreation Committee Members Ms. Carrie <br />Jakober and Ms. Linda Merkel. <br />st <br /> <br />4.Encroachment Agreement – Sheehy Construction, 7047 – 21 Avenue (Fence <br />Construction). <br /> <br />Mayor Capra removed Item 1 from the Consent agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve <br />the Consent Agenda Items 2, 3, and 4. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />1. City of Centerville March 29, 2007 through April 11, 2007 Claims <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated Check #22236 was voided. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra requested that City Administrator Larson explain the disbursement. Mr. <br />Larson stated that the disbursement was for Anoka County in the amount of $11, 264 for <br />property taxes on a variety of properties. Mr. Larson stated that the City is researching <br />the reduction of this amount in future years. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra questioned what taxes the City pays on park property. Mr. Larson replied <br />that the City pays no property taxes on parks. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />
