He passed out redlined versions to the Commissioners for <br />review and comparison before the Comprehensive Plan is finalized. <br /> <br />Commissioner Love questioned whether the agreement with Bonestroo had been signed. <br /> <br />city Administrator Larson replied that staff was given the go ahead to have it signed by <br />City Council at the April 25, 2007 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Love questioned whether the Parks and Recreation Commission submitted <br />a new budget. <br /> <br />city Administrator Larson replied that they bad not. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson referred the Commissioners to pages 49 through 51 of the <br />redlined copy of the Comprehensive Plan. He commented that the Parks and llecreation <br />Commission reviewed the section and made some minor changes. He stated that the <br />Parks and Recreation Commission is working on the trails plan to add to the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that he would have input to the policy statements as the <br />planner moves forward. He commented that he would look at what no longer fits into the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson directed the Commissioners to page S2 - Environmental <br />Elements. He reported a Wellhead Protection Plan must be developed to indicate how <br />wells monitor what is happening around them. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson questioned which direction the water table is moving. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied towards the lake. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson asked about septic systems in Centerville. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied that there are very few left. He commented there <br />might be a dozen or so homes in the north end that do not have City sewer or water. He <br />informed the Commission that the plan is to connect City water and sewer to all residents <br />by 2012. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the DNR Shoreland Management rules apply <br />relative to storm water drainage. He explained that Centerville is not required to adopt <br />the State Shoreland Management requirements. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson questioned whether surface water fen under the DNR Shoreland <br />Management rules. <br /> <br />Page 2 of6 <br />
