He <br />commented that the wetlands and flood plain areas would require verification. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson questioned whether new rules are required for sediment control. <br /> <br />City i\dministrator Larson replied that permitting would be added and Rice Creek's <br />overlapping requirements should be mentioned. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson questioned whether t4ere are still 452 acres of wetlands and flood plain. <br /> <br />City i\dtninistrator Larson replied that he would confirm the total number of wetland and <br />flood plain acres. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Klennert-Hunt questioned solar access. <br /> <br />City AdflJinistrator Larson commented that developers and builders must be sensitive to <br />another's access to sunlight. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that he would verify the Wetland Act. <br /> <br />Commissioner Love questioned what is considered a major public facility. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied that paragraph needs modification. <br /> <br />C1uUr Hanson questioned what to do about different species offish, for example stocking <br />private ponds with Koi. He stated that these non-native fish are showing up in rivers and <br />could destroy native species. He recommended that a non-native invasive species <br />comment be added for plants, animals, and fish. <br /> <br />city i\dministrator Larson replied that this is covered under the nuisance section for <br />noxious weeds. He commented that enforcement is difficult. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fehrenbacher stated that the DNR has specific rules on non-native fish; <br />therefore, there is no need for the City to add additional restrictions. <br /> <br />city Administrator Larson stated that the utility staging section requires rewriting. He <br />commented the entire City is part of the Metro sewer. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard questioned whether a Comprehensive Plan amendment was <br />written to change Centetville staging to match the Metro. <br /> <br />City i\dmjni$batof Larson replied that he would check and stated that it might have been <br />added when the rezoning was accomplished. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />
