City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 9, 2007 <br />III. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Capra requested the addition of Page 9A to Item 1 of the Consent Agenda. She <br />also requested the additions of Mr. Randy Larson, Aerial Photos – Sesquicentennial to <br />VI., Item 1; Sesquicentennial Budget Authorization to VII., Item 3; Resolution #07-XXX <br />City of Centerville’s Sponsorship of Redevelopment Grant Program (DEED) Submission <br />to VII., Item 4; Hidden Spring as VII., Item 5; and pages 50 and 51 to VIII., Item 5. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Broussard, to <br />approve the agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />IV. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />1.April 25, 2007 City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that on page 4 of 7 the individual from the audience who spoke was <br />Mr. Pedro Salazar and not Mr. Tom Piel. She requested that the minutes reflect Saturday <br />and Sunday rather than Friday and Saturday for the LaCompany cooking permit in the <br />last sentence on page 6 of 7. Mayor Capra requested that the minutes reflect <br />LaCompany would “sell” fresh squeezed lemonade on page 7 of 7. She requested that <br />the Adjournment motion be changed on page 7 of 7 to reflect Council moved and passed <br />a motion to enter a closed Executive Session to conduct the performance review of Mr. <br />Dallas Larson, City Administrator, at 7:58 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />approve the April 25, 2007 City Council meeting minutes as amended. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />2.April 25, 2007 City Council Closed Session Meeting Minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve the <br />April 25, 2007 City Council Closed Session meeting minutes as presented. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville April 26, 2007 through May 9, 2007 Claims. <br /> <br />2.Centennial Fire District Claims through April 30, 2007. <br /> <br />3.Preliminary Approval & Support of Eagle Scout Project – Funding Not to Exceed <br />$500.00 – Restoring Monument Location (Plantings, Edgings, Etc.). <br /> <br />4.Ollie & Company Proposal for Skateboard Competition at Laurie LaMotte <br />Memorial Park Skate Park June 16, 2007. <br /> <br />5.Encroachment Agreement – Mr. & Mrs. Walter Mehsikomer, 1890 Center Street <br />(Existing Landscaping & Fencing on City Out lot). <br /> <br />6.Acceptance of Resignation of Planning & Zoning Commission Member Bob <br />Wright, Jr. <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />
