They are working very diligently on their punch list items, including those discussed at <br />the last Council meeting. in preparation for the City celebration. Downtown Overhead Power Relocation (000616-07156-0). Clearwater powerlines is in <br />limbo until Xcel gets it back on their schedule. When CSAH 14 slipped they took advantage of <br />that to schedule other work ahead of this. <br /> <br />u. Comprehensive Plan (000616-07157-0). The Background Report was presented to a joint <br />meeting of the Planning Commission and City Council on June 5, 2007. Bonestroo is in <br />process of preparing new goals and policies based on a revision of the 1997 version recently <br />completed by the Planning Commission and Park Board Bonestroo will present a draft of the <br />new goals and policies to a joint meeting of the Planning Commission and City Council at a <br />meeting on August fh. <br /> <br />13.2009 Street and UtDity Improvements (000616-07158-0). BonesIToo and City staff have <br />completed the initial walk-through of the streets proposed for improvements in 2009. A report <br />on the findings is being prepared and should be presented to the City Council at the second <br />meeting in August. A public meeting should be set for soon thereafter to introduce the project <br />to the public. <br /> <br />14. CSAH 14 Construction Services (000616-07159-0). Once the project is awarded, we will be <br />acting as the City's representative in the field during construction. The project is set to bid in.early August. <br /> <br />15. New Public Works Facility (000616-07160-0). We have reviewed the site plan and submitted <br />OUT comments to the City. The City should decide if there are "'0' of these comments which <br />they would like addressed by the Owner's engineer before the site is finished We are assisting <br />Mr. Larson with wetland issues on the site and will10171lUlate some recommendations lor <br />proceeding with any associated work. <br /> <br />16. Downtown Redevelopment Comprehensive Infrastructure Plan (000616-07161-0). A <br />number 01 figures are being drafted showing the proposed sewer, water, storm sewer and other <br />itifrastructuTe that will serve the redevelopment. The figures will be part of a report that will <br />serve as the guide for individual project plans as each phase is develoPed <br /> <br />17. Downtown Redevelopment Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA W) (000616-07162- <br />0). Due to the number 01 resJdmtial units being proposed, law requiTes the preparation of an <br />EA. ~ This study will eval1J!Be impacts to both the natural and built environments resulting <br />from the redevelopment of the downtown. Areas 01 emmination will include: Traffic, Noise, <br />Air Pollution, Wetlands, Runoff, Historic Significance and Animal Habitat to name afew. <br /> <br />IS. Miscellaneous <br />.
