LLClWiII Lessard) - 6995 - <br />20th Avenue South (Construction Business Operation in B-1 - Commercial Zonine: <br />District) subiect to conditions. AU in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. City of Minneapolis. Office of the Mayor R.I. Rybek Requesting Support of <br />Principles Regarding Construction of a New 1-35W Bridge <br /> <br />a. Resolution #07-XXX - Support of Minneapolis' Principles for <br />Reconstructing 1-35W Bridge <br /> <br />Mayor Capra summarized the request from the office of Mayor Rybek soliciting support of <br />the Minneapolis' Principles for Reconstructing 1-35W Bridge. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar stated that he would not support this if it included light rail. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee echoed Councilmember Paar's thoughts. He stated that throwing <br />money at a problem is not always the fiscally responsible solution. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lakso stated that she would have a hard time supporting this due to the <br />light rail element. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard stated that she did not know enough about this to decide at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that the Rush Line Corridor was supported by the Council by a 3/2 <br />vote. She indicated that if the money is going into building the bridge, the money should <br />be spent now rather than later. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued-no action taken. <br /> <br />4. Environmental Assessment Worksheet - Downtown Centerville Redevelopment <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz summarized the permits and approvals required, traffic analysis, and <br />nearby resources in the Environmental Assessment Worksheet. He stated that if this is <br />approved, it would go out for public notice and comment. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar. seconded by Council Member Broussard. to put <br />the Environmental Assessment Worksheet for CenterviIIe Downtown Redevelopment <br /> <br />Page 5 of7 <br /> <br />f <br />
