Public Hearing Notice for Grants/Loans from Minnesota Investment Funds. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson that stated Council authorized an application for grant/loan <br />from the Minnesota Investment Funds; however, staff discovered there is a public hearing <br />requirement. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Paar. to schedule a <br />Public Rearin!! Notice for Grants/Loans from Minnesota Investment Funds <br />application on October 10. 2007 at 6:30 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />X. ANNOUNCEMENTSIUPDATES <br /> <br />1. City Administrator Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that the meeting with the downtown businesses took <br />place on September 6, 2007. He commented that it was a fairly good turnout, with <br />questions, and the developer explaining the process and timeline for selling property for <br />development. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that the County Road 14 open public meeting would be <br />held on September 18, 2007 at the St. Genevieve Community Center. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that the marking of trees along the right-of-way had <br />begun and removal would start within the next two weeks. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that the power line relocation project around the down <br />town area is moving along. He stated that four poles have been set with three or four <br />remaining. He reported that the lines would be hung next week, the power moved over, <br />and the old lines removed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that on September 19, 2007 County Road 14 would <br />close between the two lakes for the construction of a culvert and utilities. He stated that <br />the future westerly end closure could start approximately October I, 2007 and last for <br />several months. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that staff received a cost summary from Anoka County <br />on the project and it is possible the cost might be under the amount in the Joint Powers <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra commended County Commissioner Rhonda Sivarajah for her dedication to <br />the City of Centerville with regard to this project. <br /> <br />Page 6 of? <br /> <br />/ <br />
