The Planning Commission alld City Council <br />reviewed alternative land use scenarios at an October 2nd joint meeting The meeting focused <br />on discussion of how Centerville will look at filii build-out and how the City could meet and <br />sustain a population of over 5,000 people. Some discussion also occurred on glliding more <br />landfor commercial development near the interstate. The next step is a Imblic open house to <br />presenr all the work done to date on the Comprehensive Plan and solicit feedhack from <br />residents. The Planning Commissioll and City Council will then review this information and <br />recommend a preferred alternative. TIlis Open IIouse will he held 011 November 13th <br /> <br />12.2009 Street and Utility Improvements (000616-07158-0). A public open house for the <br />project is scheduledfor October 4th <br /> <br />13. CSAH 14 Construction Services (000616-07159-0). The Contractor has finished installing <br />the water main between the lakes, and the residellls along Mounds hail are no longer in <br />seniice with a temporm}' water main. fhe Contractor is cnrrently installinR the sanilary sewer <br />forcemain, which is expectcd to he complete and in sen'ice hy early next week. <br /> <br />14. New Pnblie Works Facility (000616-07160-0). We have reviewed the site plan and submitted <br />our comments to the City The City should decide if there are any of these comments which <br />they would like addressed by the Owner's engineer before the site is finished. We are assisting <br />Mr. Larson with wetland issues on the site and will formulate some recommendations for <br />proceeding with any associated work <br /> <br />IS. Downtown Redevelopment Comprehensive Infrastructure Plan (000616-07161-0). We <br />presented a draft of the report to City sta}f and the developer. fhe plan is heing revised based <br />on the COJl1mellts of both parties.
