If your address
ends in an even number, you may water only on
even numbered days. If your address ends in an
odd number, you may water only on odd num-
bered days. If you have newly installed sod, you
are exempt from this lawn & garden watering
requirements for a period of two weeks.
The City's peak water flow coincides with
the hottest part of the day when watering is
least efficient. For that reason the City will
begin issuing citations to those that violate
the 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. watering ban.
Did you know that recently the City pumped
Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 2,507,000 gallons of water from July 5—July 7,
Sunday Noon to 5 p.m. 2006 for resident usage.
Please remember that compost makes excellent black
dirt for those flowerbeds that are in bloom and are so
pretty!
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY
The Household Hazardous Waste Facility may be con-
tacted at (763) 323-5730, and is located at 3230 - 101st
Avenue Northeast, Blaine.
