City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 26, 2007 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Lee, to approve <br />Resolution #07-035, a Resolution Authorizing the Issuance, Establishing the Terms <br />Providing for the Sale of $2,600,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds of <br />2007A. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Proposed Tax Increment Financing TIF Plan for Kendall Howard <br /> <br /> <br />a.Resolution #07-0XX Adopting the TIF Plan for the Creation of TIF District 1-7 <br /> <br />Mayor Capra directed staff to draft letter to the property owner addressing the fact that the <br />issues with the Rice Creek Watershed District should have been resolved prior to selling <br />the property. <br /> <br />5. Sedona Homes Request for Reduction in Letter of Credit <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained that Sedona Homes requests a reduction of the <br />security amount for the Public/Private Improvements completed. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz reported that there is about $25,000 left for landscaping and paving. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve Sedona Homes Request for Reduction in Letter of Credit to $56, 320 based <br />on the recommendation of the City Engineer. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Public Information Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor Capra reported that this is in relation to the notice that at the City Engineer would <br />make a presentation at 4:30 p.m. and a repeat presentation at 7:00 p.m. (and extended to <br />8:00 p.m. if required) on October 4, 2007 on the 2009 street project. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that he spoke to North Metro about taping the <br /> <br />presentation and making it available to residents. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson called attention to the trees that have been cut down near City <br />Hall. He stated that this is in preparation of the pond construction behind City Hall. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that a resident reported the contractor cutting trees was very courteous. <br /> <br /> <br />2.I35 W/E Update <br /> <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />
