Comment Summary: Job growth likely to result from the redevelopment could push employment levels <br />above the Council's 2030 employment forecast for the City unless it strictly replaces existing jobs, <br />Le. no net increase. Centerville has had 179 net job growth from 2000 to 2006, is above the 2010 <br />Council forecast, and is only 128 jobs short of the 2030 forecast. The City is encouraged to re-evaluate <br />its employment growth and forecasts for purposes of its 2008 comprehensive plan update and to <br />discuss its expectations with Council research staff.
