CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> October 24, 2007 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their work session meeting <br />on October 24, 2007, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mary Capra <br /> Council Member Tom Lee (left at 9:45 p.m.) <br /> Council Member Michelle Lakso <br /> Council Member Linda Broussard <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br />Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> <br />STAFF: <br />City Administrator Dallas Larson <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br />City Engineer Mark Statz <br />Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br />Finance Director John Meyer <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Capra reconvened the October 24, 2007, City Council Work Session at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />II. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1. 2009 Street Project <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz reported that on the 2009 Street and Utility Improvement Project. He <br />presented questions to the City Council concerning which items should be included in the <br />project. He distributed the questions in outline format. <br /> <br />A. Water Connections to Homes <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra clarified that the 2009 project is based on the Pavement Management <br />Study. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra requested that City Engineer Statz summarize the survey results. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz reported 31 comment forms were received. He summarized the <br />results of the survey. He reported that in general, residents are opposed to the 2009 Street <br />
