<br />City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />September 4, 2007 <br /> <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fehrenbacher, seconded by Commissioner Love, that the <br />Kendall Howard Project conforms to the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Review Second Draft of Goals and Policies (Comprehensive Plan) <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Consensus reached on updates and wording in the draft of the Comprehensive Plan goals <br />and policies. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Brent Meyer, Interim Use Permit Request – Alliance Drywall, Inc. at 6716 <br />Centerville Road <br /> <br />Mr. Brent Meyer addressed his needs and the reason for the Interim Use Permit request. <br />He stated the business is small with the typical equipment and two staff. He pointed out <br />the location on a site map. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard recommended discussing this with the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Consensus reached that approving this would create a spot zone situation that could set <br />precedence for other properties. <br /> <br />Consensus reached to defer this item until feedback is received from the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Fence Permit – Mr. Kevin Amundsen, 1782 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> <br />Mr. Amundsen reported that he would like to build a six-foot privacy fence in his front <br />yard. He distributed photos of his property and examples of other fences in the City. He <br />commented that his neighbor is in favor of this fence. <br /> <br /> Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Consensus reached to readdress the fence ordinance. <br /> <br />VI.
