<br />City of Centerville <br />Planning & Zoning Commission <br />August 7, 2007 <br /> <br />Vice-Chair Klennert-Hunt commented that the fencing, berming, and the fire code should <br />be the only conditions to be met. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson recommended that paving the area to limit the dust be <br />considered. <br /> <br />Mr. Lessard replied that only about six cars enter and exit the area daily. <br /> <br />Mr. Koch commented that they would access their storage once per week at most. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fehrenbacher, seconded by Vice Chair Klennert-Hunt, to <br />schedule a pubic hearing on September 4, 2007 for the Conditional Use Permit. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Application of Multi Web Converting for a Permit to Build in a B-1 Zoning <br />District <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained that staff received an application from Multi Web <br />Converting for a permit to build a 12,000 square foot facility for their company’s use. He <br />explained that this is to be a printing business. He stated that the permit requires a site- <br />plan review by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained that the question to answer is whether this is an <br />approved use in a B-1 zoning district. <br /> <br />Mr. Dan Gabrielson, Multi Web Converting, described the company’s products and <br />expansion plans. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fehrenbacher questioned if all production would be done at this location. <br /> <br />Mr. Gabrielson replied yes, as it is all custom work. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Klennert-Hunt questioned if the company was moving from another location. <br /> <br />Mr. Gabrielson replied that they are moving from Roseville. He stated the Centerville <br />site would be their only location. He commented that they are currently leasing and <br />would now like to purchase a building. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson requested the hours of operation. <br /> <br />Mr. Gabrielson replied that they currently run two shifts and the front desk is manned <br />during the day. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fehrenbacher inquired about the number of jobs that would be added. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
