City of Centerville <br />April 13, 2005 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />Council Member Paar indicated that he has received very favorable feedback concerning <br />Mr. Larson already and is pleased with the job he is doing and he feels that is attributable <br />to his 30 years of experience. He then thanked him for immediately beginning work to <br />get things under control. <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br />1.1601 LaMotte Drive – St. Paul Water Utilities <br />This item was discussed earlier in the meeting. <br />2.Resignation of Council Member Broussard Vickers/Council Liaison to Planning <br />Commission <br />Mayor Capra volunteered to attend the May Planning Commission meeting as the Liaison <br />and asked that a permanent liaison be appointed after the vacant Council seat is filled. <br />Mayor Capra indicated that Ms. Broussard Vickers had asked that any funds that would <br />have been spent on a plaque for her be donated to the parks instead. She then suggested <br />that the first day of filing for elected office in the City be designated, by Resolution, to be <br />Linda Broussard Vickers Day in the City and that the Resolution encourage all residents <br />to consider serving the City. <br />Council agreed. <br />3.D. Love Council Seat Letter of Interest <br />Mayor Capra indicated that D. Love, who is on the Planning Commission, has expressed <br />interest in the vacant Council seat. <br />Mayor Capra suggested that Council accept letters of interest through April 27, 2005 for <br />consideration at the last meeting in April. <br />Council agreed. <br />rd <br />4.Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation Proposed Hunter’s Crossing 3 <br />Addition Park Dedication Fees <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that this plat has not yet had its public hearing and <br />suggested waiting on this recommendation. <br />Council asked Staff to research what park dedication fee amount was agreed to for this <br />phase of the development. <br />5.Consumer Confidence Report for 2004 <br />Page 6 of 8 <br /> <br />
