City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 27, 2005 <br /> City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he would review the contract but noted that the City <br />has some leeway with how to control this and that would be that the addition of the <br />cables impedes the use by the City. <br />City Administrator Larson handed out information on the Minnesota Community Capital <br />a source of economic development loans. He then explained that the City would make a <br />loan to the program and then businesses within the City can apply for a loan of up to 10 <br />times the amount. <br />2. 1601 LaMotte Drive <br />Staff continues to work on this and will bring a recommendation for consideration. <br />3. Downtown Redevelopment Planning Update <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the City would need to decide within a couple of <br />weeks as to which consultants to use. <br />Council recessed to executive session at 8:15 p.m. to discuss Royal Oaks litigation. <br />X. CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION (PENDING LITIGATION) <br /> Royal Oaks Realty – Lakeland Hills & Royal Industrial Park <br /> City Attorney Hoeft reported that the settlement conditions that were set by the Council <br />at its Meeting of April 25, 2005 have not yet been agreed to by the opposing parties. The <br />Council agreed that no further concessions would be made and that if the agreement for <br />settlement is not signed by the other party by the first regular meeting in May the City’s <br />offer is withdrawn and the Council will pursue the court action for the entire amount due. <br /> Council reconvened from executive session at 8:23 p.m. <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso to adjourn <br />the April 27, 2005 City Council Meeting at 8:25 p.m. All in favor.
