City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 27, 2005 <br />3. Rezone/Comprehensive Plan Amendment (Sedona/Jackson Commercial/PIMA <br />Properties) <br />City Administrator Larson explained that Sedona Homes had begun the process for a <br />rezoning and Comprehensive Plan amendment for a project that has not gone forward. <br />He then asked whether Council wished to change the zoning back to what it was <br />previously or continue with the Comprehensive Plan amendment at City expense. <br />Council discussed the matter and agreed that the Comprehensive Plan amendment should <br />move forward as the rezone to residential for a portion of the property is what the <br />neighbors in the area had asked for. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar to direct Staff <br />to move ahead with the Comprehensive Plan amendment at City expense. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4. Water Tower Containment System <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he had researched the matter and the contractor would <br />retain any liability for any overspray damage complaints that would arise. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve <br />the change order to eliminate the water tower containment system. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br />1. City Administrator Dallas Larson <br />City Administrator Larson asked for approval to research and hire a different cleaning <br />service as the current contractor is not doing an adequate job. <br />Council consent to direct Staff to research and hire a new cleaning company for City Hall <br />as requested by Staff. <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the company that has the antenna on the water <br />tower that will be relocated to the new water tower has informed the City that they will <br />have 18 cables to serve 9 antennas and Staff is concerned with the amount of space that <br />takes up inside the column of the tower. <br />Mr. Peterson indicated that maintenance would be affected as they could not access from <br />the inside through the neck with that amount of cables. <br />Page 6 of 7 <br /> <br />
