City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 11, 2005 <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve <br />Ordinance #80, Amendment to Swimming Pool Fence Height as presented. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />3. Ordinance #81, Amendment to Non-Conforming Structures <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve Ordinance #81, Amendment to Non-Conforming Structures as presented. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Ordinance #82, Amendment to Official Zoning Map <br />City Administrator Larson provided an overview of the proposed Ordinance to Council. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve <br />Ordinance #82, Amendment to Official Zoning Map. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />5. Insurance – 7071 & 7073 Centerville Road (Turcotte/City Property) <br />City Administrator Larson explained that the Finance Director has recommended getting <br />t he building torn down before the next policy renewal. <br />Mayor Capra asked if Staff could look into someone to purchase and move the building <br />again. <br />City Administrator Larson indicated the City would establish a TIF district before <br />removing the building. <br />6. Centennial Lakes Police Department Request for Funding Neighborhood Watch <br />Street Signs – Not to Exceed $200.00 (Charitable Gambling Funds) <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve <br />the request of the Centennial Lakes Police Department for Funding Neighborhood <br />Watch Street Signs Not to Exceed $200.00. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />7. Bald Eagle Water Ski Club Request to Install Ski Jump on Centerville Lake <br />Bill Loman representing the Water Ski Club appeared before Council asking for a letter <br />of permission to install the jump on Centerville Lake for the 2005 season. <br />Council Member Lakso asked how many years they have been on the lake. <br />Mr. Loman approximated 7 years or so. <br />Page 4 of 8 <br /> <br />
