City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 27, 2005 <br />Council Member Lakso noted on Page 8 that Council Member was used twice and asked <br />to delete one. <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Lakso to approve <br />the July 13, 2005 City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />V. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> 1. Ms. Connie Moore – Alexandra House <br />Ms. Connie Moore appeared before Council and provided information on the services <br />provided by Alexandra House. She then asked Council to consider a financial <br />contribution to their organization. <br />Mayor Capra noted that Commissioner Langfeld is very active and then asked whether <br />Alexandra House receives funding from the County. <br />Ms. Moore indicated that the County awarded Alexandra House a $25,000 grant for this <br />calendar year and they are considering their ability to contribute for next year. <br />Mayor Capra indicated that this Council supports mediation services through Anoka <br />County and noted that the Council meets next week to discuss its budget. <br />Council Member Paar indicated he would like to ensure that residents of Centerville are <br />aware of the services available to them. <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br />
