<br />Councilmember Buckbee emphasized in the past citizen complained about lack of restroom <br />facilities and then she suggested restroom facilities be supplied for participants. <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers moved and it was seconded to authorize the Turtleman Triathlon to be <br />conducted through Centerville, contingent upon restroom facilities be provided. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The Statement of Annual Review in May for Administrator <br />Mayor Wilharber announced information for the administrators annual review will be sent out in <br />the next Council packets. Mayor Wilharber will combine the administrators 1997 <br />accomplishments and 1998 goals and objectives. <br /> <br />The Letter from Peltier Lake Association <br />Councilmember Brenner reported the City received a letter from Wayne LeBlanc addressing the <br />plans to adjust the water levels in Peltier Lake (Exhibit D). <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to request Staff to write a letter to RCWD <br />asking for a response to the letter. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORT <br /> <br />Downtown Revitalization Committee <br />Councilmember Brenner reported on the Downtown Revitalization Committee and its plans to <br />have the Design Team explore different areas ofCenterville. Such as a tour of the City of <br />Centerville and Centerville Elementary School. After the Design Team tours Centerville, then its <br />participants will report to its steering committee. Councilmember Brenner added, several fifth- <br />grade students attended the meeting and contributed their thoughts. Mayor Wilharber <br />emphasized the newspaper article about the Design Team visit was exceptional. <br /> <br />ADMDUSTRATORSREPORT <br />Mr. March reported a public hearing is scheduled on April 29, for the 20th Avenue north <br />assessments. Also, the Metropolitan Council scheduled a public hearing in the Centerville <br />Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m. the same evening. <br /> <br />Mr. March commented the League of Minnesota Cities Attorney plans to meet with the Council <br />in executive session on May 6, at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Resolution 98-07 Approving Parkview Preliminary Plat and Rezone <br />Election Booths <br />Approval of the Street Naming Committee & Members <br /> <br />7 <br />
