<br />Goodwin. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers moved and it was seconded to send a letter to Doug and Noreen Stevens <br />at 7245 Clear Ridge. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> <br />League of Minnesota Conference June 16 -19 <br />Mr. March briefed the Council on the League Conference and noted in addition to the <br />administrator and the clerk, the public works' director and the deputy clerk voiced interest in <br />attending the conference. In addition, Councilmember Brenner and Councilmember Powers <br />voiced interest in attending the conference. Councilmember Helmbrecht voiced interest, however, <br />she was unable to commit at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers asked about the budget restraints. Mr. March did not have the budget <br />readily available. Councilmember Helmbrecht questioned staffing the office during the week of <br />the conference. Mr. March commented he planned to Staff the office the week of the conference <br />with the receptionist and the building inspector. Mayor Wilharber noted he would not be <br />attending the conference. Ms. Gaustad understood Councilmember Buckbee did not share <br />interest in the conference. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to approve attendance of the public works <br />directorlbuilding official and the deputy clerk to the LMC conference. Contingent there is <br />adequate office coverage and contingent on budgetary limitations. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called for further discussion. On the contrary, Councilmember Helmbrecht felt <br />employees should not be restricted from attending the conference due to budget constraints. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to amend the previously stated <br />motion to remove all contingencies. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />L Resolution 98-06 Receiving Preliminary Report Calling Public Hearing <br />L Job Description - Secretary C (EXHIBIT A) <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to approve the consent agenda. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers moved and it was seconded to adjourn the council meeting.
