<br />was distributed to each city and that the County will proceed once Cities representing 80% of the <br />total cities in Anoka County signs the agreement. Furthermore, the shared capital cost of <br />$787,630 will be divided among the Anoka County police departments. The County plans to hire <br />a System Administrator that will be located at Coon Rapids City Hall. In addition, the County <br />plans to sign a maintenance agreement with the software company for 24 houri 7 days a week <br />support for the entire system. The system is designed to read information from the date of <br />installation but not established information unless it is "computer ready." Finally, similar systems <br />are set up and running in North Carolina, Saint Cloud, Burnsville, and Eagan. <br /> <br />Mr. Hoeft warned that the up-front capital cost may be an additional charge to the City ifit elects <br />to contract with another city besides CPLPD. Specifically, the City may be required to purchase <br />new software or absorb the cost to buying into an existing system. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> <br />Pay Estimate #3 for Parkview Addition <br />Mr. Hoeft explained that the City received a lien guarantee on the Parkview bond and suggested a <br />few options for consideration. Pay estimate #3; do not pay estimate #3, until the City is in receipt <br />of a satisfaction lien waiver; pay the estimate amount less the 5% retainage fee and the <br />outstanding balance due to Schmidt Curb Company. Mr. March suggested placing Northern <br />Escrow on notice that no additional funds will be released until the City's in receipt of a lien <br />waiver. <br /> <br />2 <br />
