<br />stringent California emissions standards. Continuing, the City spent $1500 on repairs to the <br />tractor to date and he predicts additional monies will need to be invested to maintain the tractor. <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer explained the $32,225 would come from the following funds as listed below: <br />Streets 50% <br />Storm Sewer Fund 20% <br />Sanitary Sewer Fund 10% <br />Water Fund 10% <br />Park Budget 10% <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer recommended the Council purchase the tractor and the implements per the quotation <br />except to upgrade the tractor to the 263 model at the same cost as the 253 model. <br /> <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to authorize the purchase of the Massey Ferguson 263 x 4 <br />tractor for the amount of the bid and funded as per the Public Works Director. <br />Councilmember Brenner seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Special Meeting November 4, 1998 <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to schedule a special meetin!! on November 4.1998 for <br />budget. election and any other issues that need to be discussed. Councilmember Brenner <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Reschedule November 11 and 25 Council Meetings and Truth in Taxation Hearing <br />Rescheduled from December 9 to December 7 and December 23 to 21 meeting. <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to reschedule the November and December Council <br />Meetings from November 11 to 9. November 25 to 23. December 9 to 7. and December 23 to <br />21. Councilmember Brenner seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Accept Councilmember Helmbrecht's Resignation <br />Councilmember Buckbee reluctantly moved to accept Mary Jo Helmbrecht's resignation <br />and to purchase a plaque recognizing her years of service. Councilmember Brenner <br />seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner touched upon the six years of very dedicated service by Mary Jo. On <br />behalf of the Council, Staff and Citizens Mary Io, thank you for everything you have done for the <br />City. Mayor Wilharber echoed the same. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Appoint Acting Mayor <br />Mayor Wilharber moved to appoint Councilmember Brenner to be the Acting Mayor in his <br />absence.
