Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Establish Truth and Taxation Hearing Dates <br />Mr. March gave an overview of the available truth and taxation hearing dates and he noted <br />conflicting dates with other governmental agencies. Moreover, he recommended rescheduling the <br />December 23, Council meeting to Monday, December 21, 1998. Therefore, the Council can hold <br />the budget hearing meeting on December 9, a continuation of the budget hearing on December <br />16, if needed, and adopt the 1999 budget on Monday, December 21, 1998. <br /> <br />Councilmember Helmbrecht moved to approve City Administrator March's <br />recommendation. as noted. Councilmember Brenner seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Set Proposed Levy Amounts Resolution 98-20 <br />Councilmember Brenner moved to approve resolution 98-20 to set proposed levy amount in <br />the amount of $850,000. Councilmember Helmbrecht seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended Brain Hanson <br />be approved to fill a vacant seat on the Commission and Richard Travis as <br />an alternate for three months. <br /> <br />2. The Park and Recreation Committee recommended Donald Bahneman be approved <br />to fill a vacancy on the Committee and Monica Travis be an alternate for three <br />months. <br /> <br />3. Waive the Church of St. Genevieve, Gambling Cost and Approve a Bingo Permit <br />for November 8,1998 - (Resolution 98-21) <br /> <br />Councilmember Buckbee moved to approve the consent agenda. Councilmember Brenner <br />seconded the motion.
