<br />CITY OF CENTERVaLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />JULY 8, 1998 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held its <br />regularly scheduled Council meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 1998, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br />Mayor Wilharber opened the meeting at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber performed the bid opening for a central air unit and the removal and possession <br />of a garage. <br /> <br />Central Air Unit <br /> <br />Bid Amount <br />$ 55.00 <br /> <br />Bidder <br />John and Laura Salin <br />1716 Heritage Street <br /> <br />Removal and possession of a garage located at 7024 Centerville Road. <br />Bid Amount Bidder <br />$527.00 Able - Building Movers Inc. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Members: Theresa Brenner <br />Laura Powers <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Members: <br /> <br />Mary Jo Helmbrecht <br />Sanna Buckbee <br /> <br />STAFF/CONSULTANTS: Jim March, City Administrator <br />Ry-Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />David Nyberg, City Engineer <br />****************************************************************************** <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Quigley - Eagle Pass - Trail Issue <br />Mr. Quigley addressed and requested the Council to consider omitting a section of a trail in Eagle <br />Pass. The section of trail is located between Dupre Street and Eagle Trail. To begin with, he <br />explained the new property owners voiced their desire to eliminate the trail that encroached on <br />their property. Therefore, Mr. Quigley proposed to reimburse the City to remove this section of <br />trail. Mr. Quigley mentioned that approximately $3000 has been invested for the trail site <br />preparation and another $1000 will be needed to be spent to remove wl!at is constructed. For this <br />reason the Eagle Pass Developer requested to replace the trail with a cash payment of$5000. <br /> <br />1 <br />
