CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor WIlharber called the December 20, 1999 City Council meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />ll. PUBLIC HEARING (8) - None <br />) ID. APPEARANCES/A WARDS <br /> <br />Tri-City Police Department Joint Powers Agreement <br /> <br />Chief Heckman was present for the Tri-City Police Department Joint Powers Agreement and <br />Mayor Wilharber requested that the Tri-City Police Department Joint Powers agreement be <br />moved to the beginning ofthe agenda. <br /> <br />Mr. March noted a couple minor errors in the contract: <br /> <br />Section 3.1 Paragraph 2 - should read "Rules and Regulations Policy" <br />Section 5.1.11- should be "contracting" instead of "contacting" <br />Section 14.1.a - should be "lessor" instead of "less" <br /> <br />Chief Heckman thanked Mayor Wilharber, Council and the citizens on the task force for their <br />participation in developing this agreement. He also stated that he felt it was an equitable <br />agreement for all cities involved. <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Travis, seconded by Council member Nelson to approve the <br />Tn-City Police Department Joint Powers A2reement with noted chan2es.
