<br />Motion by Council member Sweeney, seconded by Council member Broussard Vickers to <br />adopt Resolution No. 99-25, APPROVAL OF THE TRI-CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT with corrections as noted by Mr. March. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Wayne LeBlanc - Long Term Planning Committee <br /> <br />Mr. LeBlanc reviewed his letters with Council in regard to the duties that the Long Term Planning <br />Committee could assist the other commissions/committees in completing long term planning <br />Issues. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber asked the Council liaisons if this issue has been discussed with the other <br />commissions/committee. The Council liaisons indicated that their respective <br />commissions/committees have not met since this issue was brought to Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that this issue should be addressed at a workshop with the various <br />commissions/committees. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated that this issue was one ofthe items that should be addressed at the Council <br />Goals Workshop. It was the consensus of Council to hold a Council workshop on Wednesday, <br />January 19,2000 at 6:00 p.rn. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that an article should be placed in the newsletter letting interested people <br />know about this issue and that it will be discussed at the January 19,2000 workshop. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> <br />December 20. 1999 Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council member Travis to <br />approve the December 20,1999 Council meetin2 minutes with corrections.
