<br />) <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 22, 1999 <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />NOT <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of Centerville held their regularly <br />scheduled meeting on November 22, 1999, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Member Mari Nelson <br />Council Member Dick Travis <br />Council Member Terry Sweeney <br />Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Jim March <br />City Clerk, Diane Ward <br />City Attorney, Jim Hoeft <br />City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor WIlharber called the November 22, 1999 City Council meeting to order at 6:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Special Assessments for Delinquent Sewer and Water Billings <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There were no residents present for this hearing. <br /> <br />Motion by Council member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council member <br />Sweeney to close the public hearin2; for assessments for delinquent sewer and water <br />bills. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES/AWARDS <br /> <br />Wayne LeBlanc <br /> <br />Mr. LeBlanc addressed three issues with Council: <br /> <br />1. Trail easement widths - too narrow and requiring that the trail be put in <br />prior to any lots being sold. <br />2. The City establish a plan for trails and implement the plan <br />3. Acquire more land for open space <br /> <br />Council member Sweeney expressed concern that developers were not making prospective <br />buyers aware oftrails that are along properties. <br />
