Parkview Addition Development Contract Addendum
Mr. March gave a brief synopsis of a concern the Parkview Developer (Mr. Rick Carlson) brought to the
City's attention. The Developer attempted to deny certain house designs to ensure a quality
development; however, Staff and Mr. Carlson need the Councils approval to permit Mr. Carlson to
approve building plans prior to the City issuing a building permit.

Motion by Councilmember Brenner, seconded by Councilmember Nelson to approve the proposed
addendum to the Parkview Addition Development Contract. Motion carried unanimously.

Overweight Permit
Mr. March explained that the City received a request for an overweight permit for a cement truck to
travel from Centerville Road to Meadow Lane. Furthermore, in the past the city has requested a
$5,000 escrow in the case of road damage. Mr. Palzer strongly recommended the Council deny the truck
over seven (7) tons, to contact the road owner and the developer. Furthermore, if the Council authorizes
the issuance of the overweight permit he suggested travel be restricted to the A.M. hours.

Motion by Councilmember Brenner, seconded by Councilmember Nelson to deny the overweight permit
submitted by Wally Engel. Motion carried unanimously.

X.
