James Hoeft, City Attorney (Barna, Stephen & Guzy) <br />****************************************************************************** <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the January 27, 1999 Council meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Randy Hagerty - 1999 Proposed SCORE Funding Budget <br />Mr. Hagerty addressed the Council and discussed the 1999 proposed SCORE funding budget. <br />The City is proposing to purchase recycled park benches and picnic tables. Recently, the staff <br />ordered 100 curbside recycling bins. The City may be able to receive credit for recycling <br />damaged curbside recycling bins. The budget includes funds for "Garage Sale Days" and a <br />Magician. <br /> <br />Mr. Hagerty explained how the City receives SCORE funds. Included in the rubbish collection <br />cost is a state tax. The State distributes the funds to counties when various tonnage goals are <br />achieved. In return, the counties allocate funds to cities in accordance with meeting or exceeding <br /> <br />1 <br />
