<br />City Council Meeting Minutes of June 10, 1996 <br /> <br />Mr. March stated he was still waiting for FEMA to return phone calls, also Tom with <br />DNR. The attorney stated it would be ok as long as something was provided in writing on <br />the two model homes. They would be provided with flood insurance indefinitely ifFEMA <br />did not go through. Mr. Goertz agreed this would be ok to have the attorney draft a <br />waIver. <br /> <br />MOTION by Helmbrecht, second by Powers-Rasmussen to approve the Developer's <br />Agreement between K-G Development and the City ofCenterville contingent upon <br />RCWD approval, FEMA approval, the Engineer's approval of the grading plan, deed <br />restrictions for berm easements and trail easements that also need to be properly recorded. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht to approve the final plat for Clearwater <br />Meadows with the same contingencies as noted in the previous motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, second by Helmbrecht to approve the final grading plan contingent <br />upon the Engineer's approval. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated that permits would not be issued until the contingencies are met. <br /> <br />MOTION by Helmbrecht, second by Buckbee to approve the issuance of two (2) building <br />permits on lots 19 and 4 of block 2 on Cottonwood Court, contingent upon the developer <br />signing the agreement releasing the City of all liability and providing flood insurance for <br />one year if FEMA maps are not revised to the expected levels, no certificate of <br />occupancies would be issued if the elevations do not come through. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Waterworks Noise Permit <br /> <br />Councilmember Powers-Rasmussen stated that she was involved quite a bit last year and <br />feels it is an important event for the Children's Variety Hospital at the DofM. <br /> <br />MOTION by Powers-Rasmussen, second by Brenner to approve the noise permit for <br />Waterworks Summer Jam event on June 30, 1996 from Noon to 9:00 p.m. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Action Plan for the Livable Communities Act <br /> <br />Mr. March stated that Dean Johnson would like to have council comment on the action <br />plan prior to June 26th. At that time the council would need to pass a resolution before <br />submitting the final action plan to Met Council. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brenner felt that the council should take a close look at the growth <br />management for the city, which areas are to be high density. <br /> <br />CC6-lOMM.WPS <br /> <br />3 <br />
