<br />City Council Meeting of September 11, 1996 <br /> <br />MOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Brenner to approve the set agenda for September <br />11, 1996 council meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br />Wilharber stated there were no police in town when cars were driving extremely fast in the <br />fog, while the children were crossing the street going to school. Wilharber stated he will <br />get in contact with the police. <br /> <br />Wilharber stated Jim March was on vacation. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Adoption of Assessment Rolls - Buckbee questioned the City's cost on the assessment roll. <br />Nyberg confirmed the City's cost of$5,968.23. Helmbrecht questioned the $65,000.00. <br />Nyberg stated originally there was a $75,000.00 built in window for unforeseen cost. <br /> <br />MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Powers-Rasmussen approving the Adoption of the <br />Assessments Resolution 96-31. Wilharber, yes, Brenner, yes, Buckbee, yes, Powers- <br />Rasmussen, yes. Helmbrecht, abstained. <br /> <br />Eagle Pass - Nyberg addressed the need for turn around at the end of roads, like <br />Brian Drive where properties square off Nyberg suggested the council address this issue <br />prior to new street development in Eagle Pass. Buckbee stated, Milo suggested any <br />streets over 110ft should have a turn around. Buckbee mentioned a road by her home has <br />paved pads on both sides of the road for a turn around. Nyberg stated it may be difficult <br />to request a contract to put in pads outside of the plat but could try. Nyberg stated the <br />pads will need to be plowed in the winter. Nyberg also suggested the developers give up a <br />temporary easement until roads are complete. Nyberg said he would contact the <br />developers and request paved pads. <br /> <br />MOTION by Brenner, seconded by Powers-Rasmussen to have the Engineer contact <br />Clearwater Meadows, Eagle Pass, Acorn I & II and continued developments to put in <br />place the paved pads. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Second, Nyberg would like trail ways on Brian Drive. Currently, Brian Drive has no side <br />walks. Nyberg proposed running a sidewalk down street A (on Eagle Pass map) for the <br />future development as it will be a 9 ton collector street. <br /> <br />MOTION by Powers- Rasmussen, seconded by Brenner to add sidewalks along street A, <br />as a 7 ton road.
